Rose Jam Set by Amy van de Laar
This entry was posted on 18th December, 2015 .Mmm, what could be lovelier than a rich, rich red winter accessory set? Introducing Rose Jam by Amy van de Laar! Amy says:
The Rose Jam hat and matching mitts are toasty, worsted-weight winter warmers featuring an all-over pattern of rose petals. I love the heart-shaped petals of some old fashioned roses, and they inspired a cable pattern of interlocking petals that is easy to knit without a cable needle. The name comes from rose petal jam, a sweet floral preserve that I think goes very well with scones and cream. You will need only one skein of Malabrigo Rios for either the hat or the mitts, or two skeins for the set. The patterns include full charts and written instructions, and a guide to knitting 1x1 cables without a cable needle.Such a beautiful stitch pattern! You can find Rose Jam on Ravelry here , or browse our past Quickies here!
~~~~~~~~~~~~ What are Malabrigo Quickies? Quickies are small, fast projects which require only one or two skeins of yarn. Approximately every two weeks we’re teaming up with a talented independent designer to present an exciting new accessory (or other “small object”) pattern, showcasing one of our many yarns and colorways.
