couverture 4 OK Today's collection (the title of which translates roughly to "stroll under the elms") utilizes one of my favorite designing techniques - picking a stitch pattern or technique to play with and just exploring the heck out of it! In this case, the grain d'orme stitch. The results are stunning!

I really like textured stitches and when I found the "grain d'orme" stitch, I wanted to include it in different knit projects. This collection "Balade sous les ormes" created in collaboration with Malabrigo yarns, includes a shawl, a sweater, a baby blanket (which can easily be enlarged), a cowl and a matching hat. I hope you will enjoy knitting items from this collection as much as I liked designing it.

What a lovely way to say goodbye to fall! Check out the full collection on Ravelry here. Or you can also browse all our past MFPPs here. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What on earth is “MFPP”? MFPP stands for Malabrigo Freelance Pattern Project. Every month, we collaborate with an independent designer (or two) to bring you delightfully themed pattern collections! You can see past MFPP collections here or at the Ravelry link above!
