Malabrigo Quickies: Ochos Locos by Ruth Roland

This entry was posted on 9th July, 2013 .
This week's Quickie is totally cute and...dare I say...a little loco? ;-)
Ochos Locos in Aquarella, in the Ochos Locos in Aquarella, in the "Indy" colorway.
  Ruth says:
This scarf is a chain of figure eights, hence the name (which means “Crazy Eights” in Spanish). The short version makes a cute piece of neckwear or a belt, and the longer chain will wrap around multiple times. Thread the links through one another or make two scarves to link together. Work as many links as you like, using more yarn to make an even longer chain. One skein of Aquarella makes approximately 10 links.  Use two colors for an even crazier look!  (More at Kangath Knits.)
ochos-whitedoor_medium2 Very cool, Ruth! You can find Ochos Locos on Ravelry, or peruse our past Quickies here. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ What are Malabrigo Quickies? Quickies are small, fast projects which require only one or two skeins of yarn. Approximately every two weeks we’re teaming up with a talented independent designer to present an exciting new accessory (or other “small object”) pattern, showcasing one of our many yarns and colorways.
