I tell ya, I can never get enough of the "grellow" trend (gray + yellow) and this cowl delivers, with chic reversible cables to boot!

  Brenda says:
This is like a classic cabled cowl, but turned on an angle. Knitted on the diagonal, the cables run diagonally around the cowl. The cowl will be knitted flat then sewn together to form a loop. Make it smaller to sit on the shoulders, using just one skein of the MC, or longer to wrap around the neck twice. Knit in squishy warm garter stitch in yummy Malabrigo Rios yarn, this piece features cables that use Lily Chin’s reversible cables technique, so the cowl looks the same on both sides. An i-cord edge in a contrasting color really makes it pop. Choose unexpected color combos for extra pizzazz!

Quickies are small, fast projects which require only one or two skeins of yarn. Approximately every two weeks we’re teaming up with a talented independent designer to present an exciting new accessory (or other “small object”) pattern, showcasing one of our many yarns and colorways. -Alex
